Ken Block keen to increase World Rally Championship programme
Ken Block's best ever World Rally Championship result on Rally Mexico has spurred him on to chase further outings in the series this season
Block ran sixth for much of the latest round of the WRC before dropping to seventh on the final day.
That result is still a career high for the Gymkhana star and despite previously predicting Mexico would be a one-off appearance, the American now says he wants to do more.
"I'm going to try and do more [WRC] rounds this year," said Block.
""It's great to get the finish and the best result, but what's also really good for me is the sense of achievement I get from improving in terms of driving and making notes.
"I feel I've taken a step forward from where I was on this event last year."
Block is busy with other commitments, but competing against the best rally drivers is still what he wants to do.
"Coming and comparing against the likes of Sebastien Ogier - who is on another planet - to guys like Nasser [Al-Attiyah] is great for me," he said.
"I want to do more, but this year is busy. We have more sponsor requests than ever, the Global Rallycross series has grown and we have four X Games events instead of one.
"Do you know where I might be able to buy some spare time? I'd be interested in that..."
