Autosport Podcast: Special National racing edition
A review of the McLaren 720S GT3 machine features as part of the first special national edition of the Autosport Podcast in 2021
GP Racing Editor Ben Anderson - a former Autosport National Editor - recently got behind the wheel of the successful GT racer, which has been a winner in British GT over the past two seasons.
He was immediately impressed by the way the GT3 beast gave him confidence to push and joins Autosport's National team of Stefan Mackley and Stephen Lickorish to give his reflections of the test.
The team also looks at the opposite end of the national spectrum by exploring the way the Super Lap Scotland series has helped trackday drivers make the move into competitive action north of the border - including a British GT champion.
There is also a discussion of some of the other features that appeared in the recent National supplement in Autosport magazine as well as analysis of the impressively large grids at many race meetings since the English motorsport season began at the start of the month.
