0.002s covering the pole man and second place. We are set up for another thriller in the mountains on Sunday between Marquez and Dovizioso.

Petrucci, Crutchlow, Zarco, Rabat, Iannone, Pedrosa, Rins, Vinales, Bautista fill up the rest of the top 12.
Crutchlow and Marquez almost come together at Turn 4. These laps have gone for the Honda duo. Lorenzo returns to the circuit, no further improvements coming in at the moment.
1m23.241s from Marquez. Just about a tenth away from the outright circuit record. What have the Ducati riders got in response?
Marquez retakes control in Q2 with a 1m23.395s - 0.020s split Marquez and Lorenzo. It is tight here at the Red Bull Ring.
1m23.900s for Zarco versus a 1m25.3s from Vinales. That is painful reading for the factory Yamaha squad.
Dovizioso just misses out on top spot, his gap to Marquez just 0.029s, while Zarco moves into third on the Tech3 Yamaha.
A number of riders back in already. Plenty of slicks preserved through practice being affected by rain. Two-stop strategies very likely in this session.
1m23.810 for Marquez - fastest lap of the weekend so far. Marquez taking it steady at the start of Q2 it seems.
Just to add to the Rossi stat: He was 15th in the mixed conditions at Phillip Island in 2016, but came through to finish second in the race. Something tells me that won't happen again on Sunday.
The pole shootout is coming up next. The combatants are:
Dovizioso
Lorenzo
Petrucci
Marquez
Iannone
Crutchlow
Zarco
Vinales
Rabat
Pedrosa
Bautista
Rins

Petrucci
Marquez
Iannone
Crutchlow
Zarco
Vinales
Rabat
Pedrosa
Bautista
Rins
14th is Rossi's worst qualifying result since he was 13th on the grid for the Catalan Grand Prix last year.
Rossi misses out. He will start 14th. Bautista and Rins progress to the pole shootout. Smith will start 13th, Espargaro 15th, followed by Morbidelli, Miller, Syahrin, Simeon, Redding, Nakagami, Luthi, Abraham.
Rossi was up in sector one, but has lost a good chunk in sector two. This looks over for the Yamaha rider.
Smith is in the pits. His session is over, and that is crucial as Bautista returns to the top of the times.
Bautista has been in and out already, Miller back out on second bike. The rest have returned to pitlane for a fresh set of boots.
Eight minutes to go and Bautista and Smith are your top two. Rins, Morbidelli, Rossi, Espargaro, Syahrin, Luthi, Redding, Nakagami, Abraham and Simeon follow.
Seems there was maybe a problem with Miller's GP17. Team is reportedly getting his second bike ready.
Not for long, however, as the Nieto rider responds with a 1m24.417s to go six tenths clear of the field. Impressive from Bautista.
