It has been a pretty incredible week in MotoGP. We have had two superb races, the championship battle now even more intriguing as we head to Assen in two weeks' time.

Thanks you so much for your company this weekend, that is it for our live coverage of the Catalunya Grand Prix.

Join us again in a couple of weeks for more MotoGP action.

Dovizioso has won two of the seven races had so far this season and is just seven points from the championship lead - 12 months ago, Ducati were considering dropping him to make way for Lorenzo.

I suspect Ducati management are quite pleased with their decision.
Marquez: "Was not an easy weekend, but I never give up."

I think that falls into the category of understatement of the year. But second proved crucial, as it puts him just 23 points down in Vinales now with two pretty good tracks for the Honda rider coming up in Assen and Sachsenring.
Pedrosa: "The tyres were suffering a lot, since the first lap I couldn't push. Towards the end I lost more grip and couldn't manage to be faster."

He is still a happy bunny with his third, though.

Complete race result:
1. Dovizioso
2. Marquez
3. Pedrosa
4. Lorenzo
5. Zarco
6. Folger

16. Iannone
17. Guintoli

19. Lowes
DNF. Petrucci

DNF. A.Espargaro
Vinales parks up at Turn 3 to have a look at his shot rear tyre - that pretty much sums up his Barcelona weekend. Assen cannot come soon enough for the championship leader.
Dovizioso is the first Ducati rider since Casey Stoner in 2010 to win back-to-back races.
So it's a fourth career MotoGP win for Dovizioso, and his third on a Ducati - in the space of nine races. Quite incredible. Can he be a true title contender?
Rossi brings it home in P8 behind Bautista, Vinales can do no better than 10th.
Marquez takes second, Pedrosa third and Lorenzo fourth. Zarco just keeps Folger at bay for fifth.
Dovizioso wins the Catalan Grand Prix, and takes back-to-back MotoGP victories!
Worth noting the Petrucci crash puts Rossi eighth, Vinales is still 10th behind Barbera.
Folger runs wide at Turn 3 on the final lap, and that allows Zarco to grab fifth.

Marquez will have to settle for second here, Pedrosa still firmly on course for the last podium spot.
Dovizioso starts the final lap!
With the two Tech3 Yamahas bearing down on him, Petrucci ran wide at Turn 5 and loses the front. What a shame for the likeable Italian.
Petrucci has crashed out of fifth!
Zarco has caught Folger to commence an-all Tech3 fight for sixth.

Two to go here, surely nobody can stop Dovizioso now.
Iannone back ahead of Guintoli now in the battle for Suzuki bragging rights.
Meanwhile, Dovizioso is three laps away from the win and 1.5 seconds clear of Marquez.
Through Lorenzo goes, and barely a corner later he clears Petrucci and takes fourth.
Vinales has taken 10th away from Barbera.
Lorenzo now challenging Folger in a late surge for the three-time champ.
In the battle for the final points positions, the gap between Rabat in 16th and Abraham in 15th has opened up to four seconds with four laps to go.

Lorenzo has also cleared Zarco for sixth, this time without running wide.
Vinales is 11th and hounding Barbera for 10th. Every extra point will count here.
Five to go, Dovizioso is a second clear and seemingly on his way to a second win of the year...
Meanwhile, injury stand-in Guintoli has passed Suzuki team-mate and lead rider Iannone for 17th...
Pedrosa in third did drop into the 1m48s bracket, but last time around managed a 1m47.5s.
Petrucci goes ahead at Turn 5, two Ducati GP17s in the top four now.
Folger now has Petrucci all over him for fourth.
Marquez just keeping Dovizioso in check out front, six tenths split the pair with six to go...
Now Zarco is back ahead of Bautista and up into sixth.
