Konica Minolta aware of problems

The Konica Minolta Honda team believe that they will be able to solve the problems they have had this season because they know exactly what they are

Shinya Nakano has struggled so far during his first season with the team, but the Japanese rider is confident that the team know exactly what they need to improve.

"We saw at Mugello that we need to solve the problem of chatter from the front-end of the bike," said Nakano.

"It stops me pushing harder in the corners, but at least we can clearly see our problem so we know exactly what we need to work on."

Team boss Gianluca Montiron believes that the team also have to work on making the bike more consistent.

"During this weekend we hope to get to the bottom of our problems with the consistency of our lap times," he said.

"We have seen that Shinya can do competitive times early in the race, but the problem for us comes in the middle of the race.

"As tyres go off every rider has this situation, but we need to find out why it happens to us a little earlier."

Nakano is currently 15th in the MotoGP standings after six rounds, and his best finish of the season is 10th place.
