Capirossi: 15th spot 'a bad dream'

The Marlboro Ducati rider was almost 1.4 seconds slower than his teammate and championship leader Casey Stoner, who qualified in second place.

"This is like a bad dream, I would really like things to be totally different," said Capirossi.

"We are trying a lot of changes to the bike set-up but without finding a solution to our problems. We've struggled a lot this weekend because I cannot ride the bike the way I want to ride it - I have problems with the set-up in general and with the power delivery in particular.

"I don't think we can expect a miracle tomorrow but we need to stay focused and try to get a good start. I'll fight as always, but I'm obviously not happy with the situation."

After five years together Capirossi and Ducati will part ways at the end of the season, but despite having recently expressed bitterness about it, the rider said the relationship with the team is still fine.

"With Ducati the relationship is fine as usual," Capirossi told Italia1 television.

"We are trying to do things in the best way and see through the end of what has been a difficult season for me. This is a particularly tough track, but the relationship is good, no problem."
