Stoner fastest in the warm-up
Casey Stoner set the fastest lap in the warm-up for this afternoon's Turkish MotoGP in a session largely dominated by Bridgestone
The top five riders were all on the Japanese tyre, with Stoner's Ducati half a second ahead of Toni Elias on the Honda Gresini, followed by the sister Ducati of Loris Capirossi, and the two Rizla Suzukis of Chris Vermeulen and John Hopkins.
The first Michelin-shod bike was the Repsol Honda of Dani Pedrosa, followed by Randy de Puniet's Kawasaki and the two Fiat Yamahas of Colin Edwards and pole-sitter Valentino Rossi.
Alex Barros on the d'Antin Ducati rounds up the top ten, while reigning world champion Nicky Hayden was 11th and Marco Melandri 13th.
In a largely uneventful session, Alex Hofman on the other d'Antin Ducati fell at the chicane only five minutes into the session, and had to walk back to the pits.
