125cc: Pasini maintains Chinese pole

Aprilia rider Mattia Pasini maintained his pole position for tomorrow's 125cc Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai despite not bettering his Friday best

Though he got close to his own best, and was one of only a few riders not to improve on their Friday efforts, he kept pole position by 0.338 of a second.

Alongside him will be Hector Faubel who improved nearly a second, Derbi rider Lukas Pesek who looked set to steal pole from Pasini in the closing minutes before he clipped Tomoyoshi Koyama and fell, with Gabor Talmacsi completing the front row.

Sergio Gadea, Tomoyoshi Koyama, Bradley Smith and Simone Corsi all improved on their Friday bests and fill the second row, with Michael Ranseder and Sandro Cortese completing the top ten.
