Reid puts NZ on top in final practice

Team New Zealand's Jonny Reid showed that he is up for a repeat of last year's pole position-winning feat by topping the final practice times for the A1GP event at Brno

On a cold Czech morning, the damp track dried as the session wore on, but the single figure temperatures meant the times didn't come down as would normally be the case. Reid set his best time in the opening quarter of the session, and stayed on top for the rest of the hour.

Jeroen Bleekemolen was next up in the Nertherlands car, 0.4 seconds down on Reid. Team Ireland's Adam Carroll continued his strong A1 form with third, while Neel Jani put the Swiss car fourth.

Nicolas Lapierre was fifth as he continued to enjoy his one-off series return for France, while a solid late run on new tyres moved Team Mexico and series newcomer Michel Jourdain Jr into sixth.

Robbie Kerr was seventh fastest for GB, Franck Cheng eighth for China, Sergio Jimenez ninth for Brazil, while last year's Brno winner Alex Yoong had his best run of the season to date to round out the top 10.
