Kerr replaces Manning for Brno

Robbie Kerr will make his return to A1 GP race duties for Team Great Britain this weekend at Brno

The 27-year-old missed last season's finale and this season's opener due to clashing World Series by Renault commitments, but will take over the lead driver role from Manning for this weekend, while Oliver Jarvis will again take part in the rookie practice sessions.

Team chairman John Surtees didn't have the luxury of being able to change drivers for the majority of last season, but stated prior to the start of the current one that he would be changing things around with more drivers available this time.

"In Robbie and Oliver, and of course Darren, we have a terrific talent pool from which to make our driver selection for the races," he said.

"Consistency is rewarded in A1GP so it was important that as a team we came together at Zandvoort and got off to a strong start straight out of the box."

Manning looked strong in practice at Zandvoort, although the team never really looked like a contender for victories, and had to settle for fifth and seventh place finishes in the two races.

Surtees added: "While our results weren't maybe quite what we had hoped for given our pace earlier in the weekend, we came away with points in both races to get ourselves established in the running."
