Collard, Boullion win Spa 1000km

Pescarolo drivers Emmanuel Collard and Jean-Christophe Boullion won the Spa 1000km race to take a commanding lead in the Le Mans Series

The pair have won the two races that have so far taken place this season, after the victory in Istanbul last month.

The six-hour event ended with Courage drivers Harold Primat and Marcel Fassler in second place just one lap behind the winning Pescarolo.

One lap further back were third-place finishers John Nielsen, Casper Elgaard and Philip Andersen at the wheel of a Zytek.

Taking class victory in GT1 were Stephane Ortelli and Soheil Ayari with the Barazi Epsilon-entered Saleen, one lap in front of second-placed Antonio Garcia Richard Lyons on Aston Martin.

Third place went to Pertti Kuismanen, Jos Menten and Markus Palttala on Corvette, three laps behind the class winners.
