Autosport Top 50 of 2024: #25 Will Power

This year represented a proper return to form for Will Power. The 43-year-old Aussie was back to a similar pace to 2022, when he captured his second IndyCar title.

The comparison came early and often, and he proved a problem for the paddock with three runner-up finishes in the opening four rounds. His ultimate return of seven podiums including three wins was the joint most in the series on both fronts, tied with Penske team-mate Scott McLaughlin.

A late surge for a potential third title was wiped away in the Nashville finale after a seatbelt issue hindered any chance to dethrone Alex Palou.

After his winless 2023 season, Power struck back this year and was the only driver who could deny Palou the crown come the final round after taking three victories
