IndyCar - Baltimore: Scott Dixon claimed pole for tomorrow's IndyCar race after a hectic qualifying session. Dario Franchitti struggled, and we imagine here he's asking Dixon for tips after qualifying well down.

Dixon beats Power in wild qualifying
ERC - Zlin: Jan Kopecky completes a rather successful day at the office, completing SS9 in 9m50s flat. Pech comes in 1.8s slower.
WEC - Interlagos: Aston is on the GTE Pro pole — but it's not the one we were expecting. Pedro Lamy and Richie Stanaway have topped the lists with an average just over a tenth quicker than the Porsche shared by Marc Lieb and Richard Lietz. Free practice pacesetters Stefan Mucke and Darren Turner are third, just a couple of hundredths further back.
ERC - Zlin: Well, that run was less impressive for Wiegand, but he's quite pleased and eager to get stuck into to the (possibly wet) stages tomorrow. 10m13.4s for him, and his sluggish run means he now drops behind Tarabus, who takes fourth overall with the third fastest stage time.
WEC - Interlagos: Am honours have gone to Matt Griffin and Marco Cioci in the AF Corse Ferrari. They ended up a couple of hundredths up on the Danish-crewed Aston Martin.
ERC - Zlin - SS9 results: Impressive run for Pavel Valousek, who beats Wiegand to take fifth place on that stage.

Stage: 1 Kopecky; 2 Pech +1.8s; 3 Tarabus +4.9s; 4 Kresta +7.7s; 5 Valousek +15.8s.

Overall: 1 Kopecky; 2 Pech +37.5s; 3 Kresta +1m05.5s; 4 Tarabus +1m51.7s; 5 Wiegand +1m56.9s.
WEC - Interlagos: For the record, Stanaway set the fastest lap of the session with a 1m32.992s - the only sub-1m33s lap of the weekend for a GTE car.
WEC - Interlagos: Fassler has set the fastest time of the weekend with a 1m20.784s.
WEC - Interlagos: The three factory P1 cars are all in the pits after their runs by the first drivers. Fassler leads the way from Duval (a couple of tenths back) and Buemi (a further half a second behind).
WEC - Interlagos: Treluyer, Kristensen and Davidson have now taken over the three factory cars.
WEC - Interlagos: #2 Audi leapfrogs #1 in the averages before Treluyer does another lap, lowers his average and jumps to the top of the pile.
European RX - Loheac: Fabien Pailler and title contender Timmy Hansen share top spot and Sebastien Loeb holds ninth place after day one at Loheac.

European RX day one report

Remember you can watch it unfold live on AUTOSPORT from 1pm BST tomorrow!
WEC - Interlagos: The Pecom/AF Corse heads P2 thanks to the efforts of Nic Minassian and Pierre Kaffer, with an average four tenths up on the Greaves Zytek with Bjorn Wirdheim and Gunnar Jeannette.

MotoGP - Silverstone: From France to Silverstone, where Cal Crutchlow has said he does not expect his heavy pair of practice shunts to affect his race.

Crutchlow sure crashes won't hamper race
WEC - Interlagos: Mike Conway and John Martin have moved back to the top in P2 in the G-Drive/Delta-ADR ORECA by a cool half second.
NASCAR news: AJ Allmendinger will return to the NASCAR Sprint Cup full-time in 2014 with JTG Daugherty.
WEC - Interlagos: The session is stopped - for the most bizarre of reasons. An errant flag has drifted onto the start-finish straight. There are still three minutes left on the clock, so any celebrations are premature.
ERC - Zlin: Here's how the action unfurled in the Czech Republic, where the challenge to points leader Jan Kopecky is non-existent.

Kopecky continues home rally domination
WEC - Interlagos: The clock has restarted, but the track is silent. That means Fassler and Treluyer have taken the pole from Audi team-mates Loic Duval and Tom Kristensen.
WEC - Interlagos: The rogue flag that stopped the session was actually attached to some kind of a ballon. Where it came from is anyone's guess?

That's it for AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live for today. We'll be back tomorrow morning at 9.30am BST for what promises to be a grandstand Sunday of racing and riding.

The field is just getting to the finish of the last one before midday service. Jan Kopecky has backed off to protect his lead so his run of stage wins has finally ended.
