MotoGP - Sachsenring: Rossi gets a cracking start and leads into Turn 1 ahead of Bradl and, incredibly, Aleix Espargaro!
MotoGP - Sachsenring: The formation lap ends. In terms of tyre choice, all of the prototype bikes are fitted with hard compound fronts, and medium compound rears.
While the majority of the CRT bikes are fitted with the soft rear tyre, only four have gone for the softer front - Staring, de Puniet, Yonny Hernandez and Lukas Pesek. Hernandez - along with Claudio Corti - also has the medium on the rear.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Valentino Rossi is very wary of Marquez's pace. The Yamaha star believes he might be able to fight for victory - but will have to be on top of his game to deny the young Honda rider.

DTM - Norisring: During this safety car period, Rockenfeller, Vietoris, Juncadella, Paffett, Molina, Tambay and Wehrlein have all completed the number of mandatory stops and can now run to the flag if they wish.

DTM - Norisring: Saftey car is out to allow Tomczyk's car to be moved, and that triggers a long line of pitstops, including leader Wickens and Spengler from second.
They run side-by-side down the pitlane, Wickens still ahead, but both see Mortara - who stopped a lap earlier - whizz by and take the lead.

DTM - Norisring: More awful luck for Martin Tomczyk. He tries to go around the outside of Green for seventh at Turn 1, gets forced wide and then is biffed into the wall by Juncadella as the pair run side-by-side exiting the turn.
That looks like a racing incident, although that will be of no consolation to Tomczyk, who is stopping his car and has now gone a calendar year almost without a point.

DTM - Norisring: The pitstops have started with all drivers that started on standard tyres bar Ekstrom and Hand having been in.
The big loser appears to have been Wehrlein, whose right-front tyre took a while to get stuck on. He was passed by Tambay and Molina as a result.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Torres' win - and Corsi's late move to second - actually has a fair impact on the Moto2 points.
While championship leader Redding struggled to seventh, Espargaro could have cut the gap to just 14 points. As it was, his slump from first to third means the gap reduces to 23 - which the Briton will not be displeased with after a trying weekend.

DTM - Norisring: This is probably the one and only time that a watermelon will feature here on Race Centre Live, but it's worth it, such is this art form found down at Mercedes.

Moto2 - Sachsenring: Torres claims his first Moto2 win (and podium!), and Corsi holds off Espargaro. That's good news for Redding, who could not improve on seventh.

Moto2 - Sachsenring: Terol, who was fighting at the tail end of the points, has retired with what appears to be a blown engine. AUTOSPORT's Toby Moody is mighty caught out by that.
Moto2 - Sachsenring: Six laps to go and Torres is putting in a very, very impressive performance. He has a little advantage over Espargaro and is controlling proceedings at this stage.
Remember, this is a guy whose best result at premier-level racing is a pair of sixth place finishes - Valencia 2012, and Italy earlier this season.

Moto2 - Sachsenring: But that could be good news for Redding - Torres hits the front with a great move at the penultimate corner, and now Corsi is pressuring Espargaro.
Moto2 - Sachsenring: Redding's now been passed by de Angelis, and falls to seventh. A disappointing race for the Briton who is watching leader Espargaro take a massive chunk out of his championship lead in this one.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Jorge Lorenzo has announced that he will sit out next weekend's Laguna Seca race as well following his latest injury.

Moto2 - Sachsenring: Very little to tell you about with 15 laps to go - except that Redding has been passed by Luthi for fifth.
Moto2 - Sachsenring: Espargaro, Torres, Corsi and a fully-recovered Simon - fastest of the quartet - are in a league of their own in the first stage of the race. They are edging clear of Redding by four-tenths a lap or so, and have more than three seconds over the championship leader.

Moto2 - Sachsenring: Pol Espargaro storms into the lead, with Torres sliding into second and Corsi third, who have broken clear of poleman Simeon.
