MotoGP - Sachsenring: Green, and we're back underway. Lorenzo will likely be headed straight to the medical centre.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: We have a red flag as Lorenzo's bike ended up skating onto the middle of the circuit. The Spaniard was able to walk away, although he did seem to be gingerly feeling his damaged left shoulder.
Replays show he was flicked off the bike and landed on that left shoulder just as he exited Turn 10.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Green, and second practice is underway. Karel Abraham will not be going out this afternoon - he's suffering from fever and flu and will sit out the session.
Auto GP - Mugello: Campana is driving with ten stitches in his right leg after an accident on his farm.
The Ibiza Racing driver was optimistic the injury won't affect his performance. Campana is 13 points behind championship leader Kimiya Sato in the title race.

Auto GP - Mugello: At the mid-way point of the first Auto GP test at Mugello, Super Nova's Vittorio Ghirelli is setting the pace. The Italian is over 1.5s faster than compatriot Sergio Campana.

Euro F3 - Norisring: Speaking of F3, Jamie O'Leary has just noticed a possible error with the timing systems:
"Practice underway for @fiaf3europe at norisring. Name Vorname is 11s off the pace. Last we'll see of him."

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Chequered flag flies, and a crash-strewn first practice comes to a close.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Just as Crutchlow falls, Lorenzo gives himself breathing space at the top by setting a 1m22.047s, just over one tenth faster than his previous benchmark.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Crash, and its Cal Crutchlow at Turn 1. The Briton takes a while to get onto his feet after bouncing his way through the gravel, but is eventually able to walk away.
MotoGP - Sachsenring: Into the final two minutes now, and Pedrosa times his run well as he jumps to second, 0.047s down on Lorenzo. Rossi also improves, and is just two hundredths of a second down the road.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Andrea Iannone has a massive shunt, and its Turn 11 again. He's able to walk away, but the bike bounces through the gravel and sheds a massive amount of bodywork, with the rear completely torn away.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: And Rossi snatches top spot next time around. His 1m22.720s is less than one tenth faster than Marquez.
MotoGP - Sachsenring: Rossi improves to fifth, just over three tenths down on Marquez. As he does, Aleix Espargaro continues his and Aspar Aprilia's massively impressive recent form by jumping to sixth.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Big wobble for Nicky Hayden too, but the American incredibly manages to hang on. He pulls straight into the pits though, moments after Dovizioso arrives on the back of a marshal's bike.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: We have our first crash, and its Andrea Dovizioso. Its a fast one too - he's gone down at the downhill Turn 11, which is taken at speeds around 200mph. The good news is he's walking away from it.
MotoGP - Sachsenring: Oh, and we have the small issue of Valentino Rossi arriving on the back of his first premier class victory in three years - a triumph he thinks will open the floodgates. The Italian is currently third fastest after the first few minutes of practice, behind only Stefan Bradl and team-mate Lorenzo.
MotoGP - Sachsenring: Across at Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso will be racing the 'new' GP13 for the first time this weekend, while further down the order Hiroshi Aoyama will attempt to return from his finger injury this weekend.
