NASCAR - Loudon: Kurt Busch has climbed out of his car. It's a terrible blow - he had the pace to win today.
Also, a shout-out to Morgan Shepherd, who became the oldest man to start a NASCAR race today aged 71.
IndyCar - Toronto: The field is on its installation lap, with the exception of James Hinchcliffe. He is stranded in the pits with a stuck throttle pedal.

NASCAR - Loudon: Stewart leads away from the non-stopping Montoya, Almirola and Newman. Caution! Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman crash. Newman's car is in bad shape.

DTM - Norisring: While it doesn't affect Mike Rockenfeller and Bruno Spengler's battle at the top, Mattias Ekstrom's Norisring exclusion has consequences in the 'best of the rest' region.
Ekstrom falls from sixth in the standings to 11th with those 25 points gone, while his elevation to victory means Robert Wickens goes ahead of HWA Mercedes team-mate Gary Paffett into fourth.

Auto GP - Mugello: Auto GP had a curious weekend in Italy, with both races getting new winners after subsequent penalties.
Meindert van Buuren and Kevin Giovesi were the men who crossed the line first, but it was Sergio Campana and Narain Karthikeyan who actually got the wins.
The end result was an even tighter championship fight.

MotoGP - Sachsenring: Earlier today Jimmie Johnson was watching MotoGP and tweeting praise of winner Marc Marquez.
Marquez's second victory of his remarkable rookie season gave him the points lead.
That was thanks to Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo - previously first and second in the championship - both being out injured.
Round nine is just a week away at Laguna Seca. It's too early to say how Pedrosa, sidelined with low blood pressure and concussion today, will be feeling, but Lorenzo has declared he won't be in California as he recovers from his second bout of collarbone surgery.
