WTCC - Salzburgring: Red Flag midway through second practice, as Norbert Michelisz and Yvan Muller get it wrong at the Turn 1 chicane. The Hungarian causes the most fuss, hitting the tyres, but both men are able to return under their own steam.
DTM - Brands Hatch: Drivers were activating DRS just past the pitlane entrance during that session. The system automatically deactivates once it has 2.5G acting on it. The curvature of Clearways produces more than that in sideways forces alone, hence the relatively late activation.
Superstars - Brno: Fabrizio Giovanardi says an engine problem prevented him from setting any sort of decent time in free practice one (he finished 12th, six seconds behind G Morbidelli).

ERC - Corsica: Bryan Bouffier blasts back into the lead. Jan Kopecky struggled for confidence early on the stage and was 15s slower, meaning the Frenchman leads by 12s with four stages to go.

European F3 - Brands Hatch: News update on Michael Lewis, who was hospitalised after a qualifying crash.
ERC - Corsica: Craig Breen's chase of the lead now looks impossible. He made a mistake on the opening stage and damaged the rear of his Peugeot, losing half a minute.
Although the damage seems superficial and the Peugeot is continuing at a competitive pace, he has fallen back to fourth behind Stephane Sarrazin and is going to be over a minute away from the leaders with only four stages left.

WTCC - Salzburgring: Marc Basseng will be putting a new twist on the concept of endurance racing this weekend, defending his Nurburgring 24 Hours crown immediately after competing in the WTCC in Austria.
Basseng, who qualified for the round the clock race before flying directly to Salzburg on Friday, will complete Sunday's races and then fly immediately to the Nurburgring, where the race commences at 17.00.

ERC - Corsica: The final day is just commencing in Corsica. Following Robert Kubica's retirement with fuel-feed problems, it's now a lead battle between Jan Kopecky and Bryan Bouffier, who ended Friday just 3.8s apart.
But can Craig Breen catch them? The Irishman was nearly half a minute clear on day one before making a mistake, and his recovery drive has so far got him to within 39s of the lead.
