MotoGP - Laguna Seca: While the injured Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa may choose to put their bruised bodies through as little as possible in this session, Marc Marquez may use this session to cram in some last-minute track knowledge.
The Spaniard's proven a speedy learner around the challenging track, though. While satellite Honda rider Stefan Bradl might have claimed a marvellous maiden pole, Marquez has been rapid on his circuit debut.
ALMS - Mosport: Ende is having a lonely race in LMPC this afternoon. He sits 46 seconds ahead of nearest category rival Mike Guasch who has BAR1's Tomy Drissi firmly in his mirrors.

ALMS - Mosport: Sad news, DeltaWing fans.
The experimental prototype is still undergoing extensive repairs behind the wall. They're 49 laps down and, although no official announcement has been made, it looks like its game over for Meyrick and Katherine Legge.
ALMS - Mosport: All eyes back on LMP2 as Cosmo and Conway continue to contest their fantastic battle. The Brit managed to retake the lead at Moss Corner while Comso lost time behind a bevy of GT cars.
ALMS - Mosport: In GTC, actor-cum-driver Patrick Dempsey leads the way ahead of Spencer Pumpelly and Jeroen Bleekemolen.

ALMS - Mosport: Contact between Shears and and Chris Cumming as they enter the front straight. The duo have spun out and lost a couple of laps as a result.

ALMS - Mosport: Duncan Ende's lead in LMPC continues to grow especially as Shears was forced to serve a 60-second penalty for avoidable contact with Keating.
ALMS - Mosport: The DeltaWing is now in the pits as Meyrick temporarily ground to a halt on lap 17. The car has been blighted with engine cooling issues all weekend.

ALMS - Mosport: The #66 TRG Porsche has come into the pits following Ben Keating's contact with the barrier at Turn 3. He appeared to be nudged off the track by an LMPC runner.

ALMS - Mosport: The cars are taking to the track and the race is only moments away from beginning.
ALMS - Mosport: Confirmation that both SRT Vipers will now start on the GT front row as the #3 Corvette has been demoted to the back of the pack as a result the extensive repairs needed to get it back up and running.
ALMS - Mosport: The ultra-competitive GT field will undoubtedly entertain us from start to finish once again. SRT Viper claimed the classic Dodge design's first class pole in over a decade thanks to an excellent performance by Jonathan Bomarito in qualifying.

ALMS - Mosport: But there are a couple of things worth keeping an eye out for this afternoon, though.
How will super-sub Mike Conway fair for Level 5, having clinched second overall in qualifying yesterday?
The Brit is making his ALMS race debut today as he stands in for Ryan Briscoe who fractured his wrist at last weekend's Toronoto IndyCar event.
ALMS - Mosport: Reigning co-champions Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf start from pole for Pickett Racing and will be looking to secure their fourth consecutive victory. With nearest rival Dyson Racing fielding pay-drivers Tony Burgess and Chris McMurry this weekend, another Pickett win would appear to be on the cards.
