Superstars - Algarve: Gianni Morbidelli's Audi was utterly dominant in Superstars' Portugal visit, coming from behind to win both race one and race two.
That has brought the 1990s Formula 1 star right onto early leader Thomas Biagi's tail in the championship fight.
Another ex-F1 man, Tonio Liuzzi, is also in the hunt and battled hard with Morbidelli today.

MotoGP - Laguna Seca: The MotoGP field will hold a minute's silence before the start this afternoon in memory of Andrea Antonelli after today's fatal World Supersport accident at Moscow.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Marco Sorensen utterly dominated the Formula Renault 3.5 weekend at Spielberg in Austria, winning both races from pole.
That's inched the Lotus driver up to sixth in the championship, but the major changes have been at the top.
Title contenders Stoffel Vandoorne and Antonio Felix da Costa both had disastrous weekends and have lost ground - bad news for da Costa in particular in the week that he declared it would be his FR3.5 form that decides whether Red Bull brings him into Formula 1 next year.
Kevin Magnussen and Will Stevens, two more F1 proteges fresh from the Silverstone young driver test (with McLaren and Caterham respectively) were the beneficiaries, and Magnussen now has a burgeoning points lead.

ALMS - Mosport: As predictable as night following day, Pickett Racing has taken overall victory at Mosport by five laps.
Marino Franchitti claimed second in the Level 5 HPD, with fellow LMP2 racer Scott Sharp crossing the line third for Extreme Speed Motorsports.
LMPC victory went to Braun in the CORE ORECA.
Tommy Milner claimed GT honours in the #4 Corvette, with Bleekemolen doing likewise in GTC.
ALMS - Mosport: Even closer is the battle for the GT lead. Farnbacher is right on Milner's bumper and just 0.4 seconds separates them at the moment.
ALMS - Mosport: Five minutes remaining and Pumpelly is making inroads in Bleekemolen's GTC lead. The Flying Lizard racer is lapping a second quicker than his rival and the gap is ever diminishing.
ALMS - Mosport: Drama as Edwards is punted by the Falken Porsche into the barriers and Pumpelly now claims second in GTC!

ALMS - Mosport: Drama for RSR Racing as the LMP2-leading ORECA is stuck in the pitlane with its engine cover removed. Ende had dominated the class before the problem occurred.

MotoGP - Laguna Seca: 10 minutes to go and another star of qualifying - Alvaro Bautista - crashes at Turn 5. Lorenzo meanwhile briefly regained top spot, shading Marquez by a matter of 0.033s. But the Honda rider then went ever faster on a 1m21.751s.
ALMS - Mosport: Remember Graf? The Pickett Racing driver is still in the overall lead with just over an hour left on the clock. He currently enjoys a four lap lead over the chasing field.
