Race Centre Live will now take a pause before the American Le Mans Series green flag at Canada's glorious Mosport Park track in just over an hour.

Another win for Pickett duo Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr looks like a foregone conclusion, but could LMP2 big gun Level 5 and its flying new recruit Mike Conway spring a surprise?

And the GT battle is about to reach a new level of excitement. The SRT Viper has taken its maiden pole, putting the modern incarnation of this GT legend right up in the BMW, Ferrari, Corvette, Porsche fight.

Throw in the DeltaWing and the ever-close one-make LMPC and GTC battles (which feature some very illustrious driver line-ups), and there will be plenty to intrigue in the two hour, 45 minute race.

Also coming up later: MotoGP warm-up and race from Laguna Seca.

Superstars - Algarve: Liuzzi now in the lead, Morbidelli in second, and Biagi is involved as well. We have a four-way fight for the lead! Last eight minutes of this race should be fantastic.

Superstars - Algarve: At the mid-way point of the race, Ferrara is still in the lead. But he's got Liuzzi breathing down his neck, and Morbidelli setting fastest laps...

Superstars - Algarve: Morbidelli will start favourite, given how strong his pace was this morning, but Luigi Ferrara isn't in a bad spot either.

He took his first pole position of the season yesterday, and was on for at least a second place today had he not struck differential problems. Starting from P2, he could snare his first win of 2013 here, especially if Morbidelli takes his time in the traffic.

Superstars - Algarve: In just a few minutes, race two will be underway here in Portugal.

With the top eight reversed for start, the grid looks like this...

Pickett HPD

ALMS - Mosport: Race morning warm-up has just finished, with the Pickett HPD predictably fastest, but second was the DeltaWing.

The #3 Corvette was back in one piece and on the pace following a midnight effort by the crew after Jan Magnussen's crash in qualifying.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Red Bull's Helmut Marko is part of the podium presentation today. He was probably hoping to see Antonio Felix da Costa up there this weekend at Red Bull's home race.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Things have settled down at the front between Sorensen, Magnussen, Melker and Sirotkin. Behind them, Buller has taken fifth from Stevens, who is set to overtake da Costa in the championship today.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Sirotkin passes Stevens - who has been struggling under braking this weekend - for fourth at Turn 3.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: At half distance and with all the stops completed, Sorensen leads Magnussen by 4.7s, with Melker another 2.2 back. Stevens is fourth, with Sirotkin closing fast and Nato completing the top six.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: 2014 Sauber F1 prospect Sergey Sirotkin enjoys a spell in the lead thanks to a late stop. Despite an error (running wide at Turn 4) on his in lap his strategy seems to have moved him up the order to what should shake out as fifth place.

Sorensen - the effective leader - is currently 3.2s clear of Magnussen.

Stoffel Vandoorne

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Vandoorne's problems continue. He's back in the pits for a second time, and there's not a lot of urgency from his Fortec team as he cruises to a halt in his pit box.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Sorensen and Magnussen pit two laps later than Melker and both have emerged from the pits comfortably clear of him. Melker has lots of pace this weekend, and now he has to hunt down the two Danes.

F3.5 - Spielberg: Melker is the first of the lead trio to blink. He's in early to try to jump Magnussen.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: As the pitstops start further back, Sorensen is easing away from Magnussen, who has Melker on his tail. The top three have broken clear of Stevens in fourth, while Pic was the first to pit from P5.

FR3.5 - Spielberg: Replays show that Vandoorne was on the inside of points leader Magnussen, and he gave Melker the slightest of taps on the rear before spinning. He's currently 23rd.

MotoGP - Laguna Seca: The motorcycle racing world will be in mourning today too after the death of World Supersport rider Andrea Antonelli in a crash at Moscow Raceway earlier.

The 25-year-old Italian had raced with MotoGP CRT men Claudio Corti and Danilo Petrucci, plus Ducati MotoGP test driver Michele Pirro, during their junior careers.

Formula Renault 3.5 - Spielberg: Five minutes until the start here and the sun is shining. The race will be 44 minutes + 1 lap, and features a mandatory pitstop.

Formula Renault 3.5 - Spielberg: Vandoorne had a troubled Saturday, suffering a water leak moments before the race which eventually led to his engine over-heating and going into 'safe mode'. Magnussen, who had a huge lead in the standings just a couple of rounds ago, describes his current margin of 12 as "nothing".

MotoGP - Laguna Seca: It's building up to be a thrilling MotoGP race in America later today.

Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa are gritting their teeth through their injuries in sixth and seventh on the grid.

Marc Marquez belied his total lack of Laguna experience to set the pace until a late crash in qualifying.

Under-pressure Honda satellite riders Stefan Bradl and Alvaro Bautista qualified first and third - a maiden pole for LCR's German star.

And Valentino Rossi and Cal Crutchlow lurk on row two, Rossi still lacking qualifying pace and Crutchlow after a turbulent Saturday, but both are race threats.

It all happens at 10pm UK time, 9pm GMT.

Formula Renault 3.5 - Spielberg: As the FR3.5 field prepares for only its third 'pitstop' race of the year, here is how the top 10 of the grid lines up:

1 Sorensen; 2 Melker; 3 Magnussen; 4 Vandoorne; 5 Stevens; 6 Nato; 7 Pic; 8 da Costa; 9 Buller; 10 Sirotkin.

Championship rivals (and McLaren juniors) Kevin Magnussen and Stoffel Vandoorne share row two. The Dane re-took the lead in the championship yesterday, and is currently 12 points ahead of rookie Vandoorne.

Superstars - Algarve: Beautiful weather here in Portugal, and Gianni Morbidelli is making the most of it. The Audi driver was unstoppable in race one this morning, winning his third race in a row.

The win means that Morbidelli will start this afternoon's race from eighth on the grid. It should be a cracker. Coming up in about two hours.

Formula Renault 3.5 - Spielberg: After testing for Red Bull's Formula 1 team at Silverstone last week, things have not been going well for Antonio Felix da Costa at his backer's home race.

The Portuguese racer admitted to not putting a lap together in qualifying yesterday, and his engine then suffered a loss of oil and overheated in the race.

Da Costa could only manage eighth on the grid this morning for race two, leading him to question the performance of the spare unit he has switched to. Renault Sport is convinced that the engine is fine, and it is understood that Arden Caterham agrees.

Marco Sorensen

Formula Renault 3.5 - Spielberg: We're 20 minutes away from the start of race two in Austria. Marco Sorensen won yesterday's race from pole position, and he starts at the front again today.

But Nigel Melker in fact set the fastest time in qualifying, and he has twice had it taken away today. He was initially penalised for speeding in the pitlane, but that was later overturned when it was found that his pit limiter suffered a technical fault.

His joy at re-taking pole was short-lived however, as the stewards then ruled that he had impeded Kevin Magnussen during the session so his best lap was taken away again!

But we'll be bringing you live updates from race two of the Formula Renault 3.5 weekend at Spielberg, Superstars' reverse-grid race at Algarve, the American Le Mans Series at Mosport Park, and then the main event: MotoGP's United States Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
