WTCC - Porto: Tom Coronel snatches top spot with a last-gasp effort in first practice on the streets of Porto.
Yvan Muller and new Chevrolet recruit Pepe Oriola lock out second and third, ahead of the three Honda Civics.

ERC - Ypres: Despite complaining that this shorter stage was a bit "trickier" than the morning's previous two, Breen tops the times again so far. He's 3.4s off the podium places now having taken another 3.7s out of Paddon, who is third fastest having been bumped down by Bouffier.
ERC - Ypres: As SS9 starts to ramp up, did you know rally legend Ari Vatanen is in Belgium? He's around to watch the progress of his son, Max, who is currently 52nd overall on his ERC debut.
ERC - Ypres: SS9 is a very short affair - as demonstrated by Solowow, who is atop the initial runners having completed the stage in 4m36.0s.

MotoGP - Assen: It's official: Jorge Lorenzo will race in the Dutch Grand Prix just two days after breaking his collarbone in three places.
ERC - Ypres: Andreas Aigner - fifth fastest overall - drops more time on SS8 after a sluggish SS7. He's 9.8s down on Solowow's benchmark.

WTCC - Porto: As the pair had their offs, Yvan Muller meanwhile made it a Chevrolet one-two by improving the benchmark to a 2m08.334s.

WTCC - Porto: We have our first crashes. It had all been looking so good, but with four minutes to run Tom Chilton and Hugo Valente go off in quick succession. The latter's was the most dramatic, as he gets his braking point all wrong and slides off, nose-first, into the Turn 4 tyres.
ERC - Ypres: It would seem Kris Meeke - in the R5 Peugeot - has had a problem on stage seven and needs to have the car serviced. Both R5 cars have been running very competitively - unofficial timing suggesting they're approximately 1s quicker than the lead S2000 machines.
Meanwhile, Craig Breen - currently fourth overall - comes through to set his time for SS7 - he's top on a 7m48.2s, and third-placed Hayden Paddon can't match it. He's 1.6s adrift.

ERC - Ypres: The leaders are in the closing stages of their stage seven runs, with stage eight beginning imminently. Mikko Pajunen has restarted following his exit yesterday on stage two, and runs at the head of the pack behind the R5 course cars of Kris Meeke (Peugeot 208 T16) and Thierry Neuville (Ford Fiesta R5),

The main focus this morning will be Craig Breen's recovery drive after the driveshaft breakage that dropped him to fourth last night. He has Hayden Paddon and Bryan Bouffier in his sights.

MotoGP - Assen: Even by MotoGP hardman standards, what Jorge Lorenzo is doing is pretty spectacular.
Yamaha team manager Wilco Zeelenberg insisted last night that his man will be wise about his situation. If it is practically possible to ride, he will, but only if he's completely confident.
"He cares about his health," Zeelenberg said.
SMARTFotos was on the scene just minutes ago as Lorenzo got off his Yamaha after the warm-up with a little assistance from his crew.

GP3 - Silverstone: With Eric Lichtenstein spinning, that's it. Korjus starts on pole, ahead of Harvey by 0.055s. Regalia leapt up to third late on, ahead of Fontana, Sainz, points leader Ellinas, Kvyat and Yelloly - the latter going off at Abbey on his last lap. What a great session. Thrilling stuff.
