Zuber tops Magny-Cours practice

Andreas Zuber carried his testing form into this weekend as he set the fastest time in Friday's GP2 practice session at Magny-Cours

The iSport driver was marginally faster than Giorgio Pantano, while Monaco race winner Pastor Maldonado continued his good form to set the third fastest time.

Lucas di Grassi was fourth for reigning champions ART, while Adrian Zaugg put in a solid run for Arden to finish the session in fifth.

Championship leader Timo Glock was sixth fastest, although the German was half a second adrift of his teammate Zuber.

Michael Ammermuller was 15th for ART on his return to the series from injury, while the two other GP2 returnees had a tough session.

Ernesto Viso was 18th for Racing Engineering, while Adam Carroll was 22nd for FMS. However, both were ahead of their respective teammates.
