Zuber stays on top at Paul Ricard
Andreas Zuber finished on top of the GP2 timesheets for the second consecutive day of testing at Paul Ricard
The iSport driver had been fastest throughout both days of the test, and at the end of the second day his nearest challenger was Javier Villa for Racing Engineering.
Zuber completed far fewer laps than the majority of his rivals on the second day, which suggested that his team were satisfied with the work that they had got through during the mid-season test.
Lucas di Grassi was third fastest for reigning champions ART, although Michael Ammermuller was only 10th for the team as he continued his return from injury.
Nicolas Lapierre had a good day for DAMS as he set the fourth fastest time, while series rookie Bruno Senna was fifth fastest for Arden, who normally struggle at the French circuit.
Monaco winner Pastor Maldonado continued to build on his recent momentum with the sixth fastest time, while Mike Conway bounced back from his big accident on day one of the test to end the second day in seventh place.
Ernesto Viso was eighth fastest for FMS International, although the Venezuelan had set the fastest time of the day before his three best laps taken away for using the run off area at the first corner.
