Zuber ends Paul Ricard test on top
Andreas Zuber continued his impressive form at the first GP2 winter test to top the timesheets at the end of the final day at Paul Ricard
Zuber switched to iSport International for the second day of the test, after setting the second fastest time for his 2006 team Trident Racing yesterday. His best lap today was the fastest of the test overall.
Tuesday's pace-setter Giorgio Pantano was second fastest with Campos Racing again, while Antonio Pizzonia built on a solid first day to set the fastest time in the morning, and be third quickest in the afternoon for Fisichella Motorsport.
Reigning champions ART Grand Prix continued to have a subdued test, with F3 Euro Series driver Kazuki Nakajima crashing the car in the afternoon after setting the fifth fastest time in the morning session.
World Series by Renault front-runner Alx Danielsson had his times deleted in the second iSport car after it was found to be underweight. The Swede had been 13th fastest in the morning.
