Q & A with Ernesto Viso

Q. Second place today. It looked like a tough race for you - how was it?

Ernesto Viso: I'm happy with the set up we ran, and the car ran really good, but I think those guys are just one step ahead - it's really difficult to compete against them because they're too quick - there's nothing more I can say. They did a good job, but they also have a much, much quicker car than me - there was nothing I could do except defend my position, but after a point there is nothing else you can do.

Q. You held off Nico for quite a while but he eventually got past, but you did hold Alex to the end - how satisfying was that?

Viso: Yeah, I'm really happy about that, and I think I did a good job.

Q. How hard was it for you today? Yoshimoto seemed to have a problem with his car and fell back - did you have a problem at all with your car?

Viso: No, I think maybe he's got a problem in his head - we've got the same car, and I was fine - I really liked my set up, and I had a good pace except for those two ART cars. So I don't know what happened to him - I really don't know.

Q. What does it mean to be on the final podium of the year after the season you've had?

Viso: It's cool to be on the podium for the final race, and I think this is where we should be in every race, both me and the team. The team can do a good job, but this year was terrible for us because we had so many problems and so much bad luck. I think next year is going to be better. For sure today I could have done a little more but I gave my best - at this level what you have to do is make as few mistakes as possible, and of course we make some mistakes on the track, but the less mistakes we do, the better.
