Filippi fastest at Paul Ricard
Luca Filippi topped the timesheets for ART on the second day of GP2 testing at Paul Ricard on Wednesday
The Italian was fastest in the morning and afternoon sessions with the former champions, although his best lap was one tenth of a second shy of Andreas Zuber's lap record from Tuesday.
The day was interrupted by light rain on several occasions, while the running was also marred by many red flags as a lot of new drivers got used to the cars.
Pastor Maldonado set the second fastest time on another strong day with iSport, while Zuber was third after switching to Campos Grand Prix for day two.
Sebastien Buemi was fourth with Arden, while Andy Soucek was fifth as DPR had another strong day.
Davide Valsecchi was the top GP2 rookie in the second ART car, as he set the sixth fastest time during the afternoon session.
Other drivers new to the category that shone included British pair Ben Hanley and Oliver Jarvis, who both made the top 10 in the morning and the afternoon sessions.
