Jarvis leads Carlin 1-2
Oliver Jarvis led home Maro Engel for a Carlin Motorsport 1-2 in the second British F3 race at Brands Hatch this afternoon
The McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner took control from pole position and led his teammate all the way. His only moment for concern was a safety car period, but a decent restart ensured he would be out of danger.
Mike Conway claimed third position. Despite a poor start in which he briefly fell behind Double R teammate Bruno Senna, he then drove around the outside of Yelmer Buurman at Druids on the first lap. He then held his position ahead of Buurman to the flag.
South African Cristiano Morgado (Fluid Motorsport) scored his first National Class win after surviving race-long pressure from Juho Annala (Performance Racing) and Rodolfo Gonzalez (T-Sport).
