ADR signs up Stoddart
Two-time McLaren Autosport BRDC finalist Susie Stoddart has landed a drive with Alan Docking Racing, to compete in the Championship class of the British F3 series, reports this week's Autosport magazine
"I'm over the moon," said Stoddart. "Docking is the best team out there. They don't mess around. They know how to win, especially in the first year with a new chassis. I have no doubt I'll be aiming for wins."
Alan Docking's team guided Robbie Kerr to the championship title in 2002 and of was also responsible for Williams driver Mark Webber's campaign in 1997. He has high hopes for his new signing.
"Susie's very talented," he said. "She has got a lot to give yet. She bubbles with enthusiasm. When she puts the helmet on and gets in the car she's as good as anyone out there, and when she takes it off again she's 10 times better character-wise."
The Scot, who steps up to F3 after three seasons in Formula Renault, will be joined by Finnish Formula Ford champion and Formula Palmer Audi champion Jonathan Kennard.
