Brazilian Ricardo Zonta completed today a three-day test for the Toyota team at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.
While racing drivers Cristiano da Matta and Olivier Panis worked at the Barcelona circuit since Tuesday, test driver Zonta was in action at the French track since Wednesday. Zonta worked at the wheel of the TF102B chassis, concentrating mainly on Michelin tyre evaluation.
The Brazilian completed 274 laps of the 4.51-kilometre track configuration, which equates to over 1200 kilometres.
"We have had a very busy three days at Paul Ricard," said Zonta. "We have completed a lot of useful work, mainly testing and evaluating Michelin tyres in preparation for the San Marino Grand Prix, but also looking ahead to some other European races.
"We also carried out some work on traction control. We completed a massive number of kilometres this week, gathering lots of promising data and it was certainly a nice feeling to be behind the wheel for such a long time this week."
