Verstappen Hopes for another Step Forward in Brazil
Arrows driver Jos Verstappen is confident his team can take another step towards improving on their midfield position in this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix.
Arrows driver Jos Verstappen is confident his team can take another step towards improving on their midfield position in this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Dutchman ran as high as second in the Malaysian race and just missed out on a points finish after coming home in seventh place.
But Verstappen believes the improvements gained from further testing in Barcelona will help him in a tough race at Interlagos.
"Hopefully we can make the car a little bit better and have another good race," said Verstappen. "I am still very motivated after Malaysia."
The anti-clockwise race offers a huge challenge for the drivers, particularly on their neck muscles and although Verstappen says he is well prepared, his inexperienced teammate Enrique Bernoldi will find it tough in his home race.
"I want to finish the race this time, especially as it will be in front of my friends and family," said Bernoldi, who has not yet passed the chequered flag in a race this season.
