Schumachers Say Monaco Rift Over
World Champion Michael Schumacher says his rift with brother and rival Ralf over an incident during the Monaco Grand Prix is now over
"It is all over," said the Ferrari driver in a press conference ahead of the European Grand Prix.
"I mean, Ralf and myself had a nice chat about it. It is racing."
Ralf had criticised his brother heavily after the Monte Carlo race, where the World Champion tried to overtake him on the final lap with a move the Toyota driver thought was too risky.
"As he said, we discussed it and it's done," added Ralf. "It is not right to discuss this anymore."
Michael had also been slammed by his own teammate Rubens Barrichello, who branded the German as crazy after he passed him at the exit of the tunnel on the final lap of the event to finish in seventh place.
Schumacher said he had also talked to the Brazilian and the matter was now behind.
"It is racing and I mean, if you see the situation in general, you have a race, you are tired, you have emotions, when you think about it and you see the race you may think differently," the German added.
"I haven't seen him today but I spoke to him on Monday because it was his birthday. He was pretty relaxed. He is Brazilian, anyway, you should know, he is a bit more temperamental."
