Schumacher Feeling Fine after Mugello Crash

Following his second high-speed shunt of the season during testing at the Mugello circuit last week, Michael Schumacher has admitted he is feeling fine and looking forward to this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver, crowned World Champion for the fourth time at the Hungarian Grand Prix, lost control of his car on Thursday due to a mechanical failure, crashing heavily against the barrier.
It was the second time this year that the German suffered a heavy accident during testing, following a shunt at Monza back in July.
"It was certainly a kind of shock in the first minute, to have another accident so soon," Schumacher said. "But I felt fine almost straight away. Even so, I had a check-up at the doctor's on Friday afternoon, because my neck was a bit stiff.
"But as I expected, he gave the go-ahead, which is why I did the weekend training session as usual."
Schumacher, who equalled Alain Prost's record for most Grand Prix wins in Hungary, also said he is looking forward to racing at Spa this weekend, where he could surpass the Frenchman's record if he scores his eighth victory of the season.
"I'm really looking forward to it," he added. "I remember that last year we arrived in Malaysia after winning the World Championship at Suzuka. There I was also able to start with a feeling of freedom, without all the pressure, and that was great.
"Then I simply enjoyed the race. That's why I'm now particularly looking forward to Spa, and not only because it has always been my favourite circuit."
However, the German driver's first priority will be helping teammate Rubens Barrichello take second place in the standings.
"First of all we will try to get Rubens second place in the World Championship leader board, which means that Ferrari's season will be more than perfect," he said.
Barrichello is currently five points behind McLaren's David Coulthard with four races remaining in the season.
