Ralf Schumacher looking for home win
Ralf Schumacher has his sights set on winning Sunday's European Grand Prix, according to team boss Frank Williams
The Williams driver was leading last year's rain-hit race when a puncture deprived him of victory on his 'home' circuit.
"Last year Ralf came very close to his first victory on this track, but was unluckily prevented from stepping onto the podium by a puncture," said Sir Frank.
"In the end, he was forced into fourth place. Knowing Ralf I am quite confident he will try and set the record straight this time around."
Schumacher will go to the start grid with the an improved BMW V10 as the German engine manufacturer makes its Formula 1 debut in its native country.
But the driver himself was more cautious about making any predictions.
"Last year there I was in the lead in Formula 1 race for the first time. We had understeer last year, but I expect this year's car to cause less problems," he said.
"Because of our good performance in Barcelona it should be possible to score points at the Nurburgring."
