Quick Frentzen Hoping for More on Saturday

German Heinz-Harald Frentzen has claimed his Arrows team made a step forward in last week's testing at the Silverstone circuit.

German Heinz-Harald Frentzen has claimed his Arrows team made a step forward in last week's testing at the Silverstone circuit.

Frentzen was in impressive form in today's practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix, setting the second quickest time of the day, less than a tenth of a second behind World Champion Michael Schumacher and his Ferrari F2002.

Arrows tested at Silverstone last week for the first time in nearly a month and Frentzen reckoned their work at the British track has helped the team move forward, and the 34-year old is looking forward to a strong Saturday.

"I think we made a definite step forward at Silverstone last week," said Frentzen. "We are certainly going in the right direction set up-wise now. We are also very much enjoying an upgrade from Cosworth.

"Overall a constructive and trouble-free day and we hope for more of the same tomorrow."

Teammate Enrique Bernoldi completed a very promising day for the Leafield-based squad, the Brazilian posting the sixth quickest time in the second Cosworth-powered A23.
