No Realistic Chance of Beating Ferrari, Says Ralf

Ralf Schumacher was blown away by elder brother Michael in qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix on Saturday and then said he did not expect a change in form for the race.

Williams driver Ralf Schumacher qualified third on the grid as he and second-placed teammate Juan Pablo Montoya failed to beat Ferrari's dominant title winner Michael Schumacher.

This year's World Champion was impressive as he bettered his pole time on each flying run in qualifying for the final round of the Championship - and his brother Ralf cannot see Williams catching Ferrari on Sunday.

"I don't think it is realistic for us to challenge Ferrari," said Schumacher. "They are so strong that it looks like they have been playing games with us all weekend and didn't even need to go out on new tyre this morning.

"When they stayed on one set of tyres they knew exactly what they wanted to do so I think it is going to be a difficult race for us."
