McLaren completes Barcelona F1 test line-up with Button and Turvey

Jenson Button will return to the wheel of his 'scary' McLaren for this week's in-season Formula 1 test at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya

Following Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix Button claimed the handling from his car over the first half of the race made it one of the scariest experiences of his life.

In a bid to help McLaren get on top of its ongoing issues, Button will now run on the second day of the test on Wednesday, with test driver Oliver Turvey getting an opportunity to take the reins on day one.

The 2006 McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award winner is currently competing in Super GT with the Dome Honda team.

Turvey is joined at Barcelona by three other British test drivers in Jolyon Palmer for Lotus, Alex Lynn with Williams, while Force India is giving a run out to Nick Yelloly. All are in action on Wednesday.

The test also features ex-Sauber racer Esteban Gutierrez's first run in a Ferrari.
