Sauber have announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Kaeser Kompressoren AG effective immediately.
Kaeser Kompressoren AG are responsible for the complex compressed air supply system to be used in Sauber's wind tunnel, currently being built in Hinwil. Kaeser will also provide other services for Sauber. Meanwhile the company's logo will feature on the walls of the Sauber garage at each Grand Prix.
"Kaeser are making a very important technological contribution to our new wind tunnel project. In return, we're providing Kaeser with a platform that will enable the company to raise the visibility and public awareness of its brand name internationally," Sauber team principal Peter Sauber commented.
Michael Juhas, managing director of Kaeser Kompressoren in Switzerland, said: "At Kaeser, we have set ourselves the demanding goal of being a leading supplier of compressors and air technology, and we consistently support our claim of technological leadership by pioneering new developments.
"The high-tech environment of Formula One - and particularly of Team Sauber Petronas, with its reputation for efficiency and innovation - offers Kaeser an ideal platform for communicating this claim via partnership."
