JPM aims to stop Schumacher lock-out

Juan Pablo Montoya aims to be the first man not called Schumacher to win a grand prix this year after claiming pole for Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix

The Schumacher brothers have won every race between them so far this year, with Michael winning five races to Ralf's one. But Montoya says it's about time his luck changed this season and hopes a win will come on Monaco's streets, where it is notoriously difficult to overtake.

"It would be nice to get the first win of the year here," said the Williams driver. "I've been quite unlucky in some of the races when I had a chance to win. It's just a matter of time I think."

With cars on Michelin rubber holding eight out of the top 10 slots in Monte Carlo, Montoya feels his Williams/Michelin package is certainly good enough to win Sunday's blue riband race.

"The car feels really good and the tyres are working well. Hopefully we can have a good day tomorrow," he added.
