Honda duo hoping to bounce back at Indy

Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button are hoping to bounce back from their disappointing Canadian Grand Prix with a strong race at Indianapolis this weekend

The Honda Racing team failed to score any points for the second race in succession, with Brazilian Barrichello retiring with engine problems in Montreal. Teammate Button struggled with the handling of his car and eventually dropped down to ninth place.

Barrichello is now aiming to enjoy a much better United States Grand Prix and hoping to put on a good show for the fans following last year's fiasco.

"Indianapolis has such a strong motor racing heritage and traditionally puts on a great show so I hope that the race weekend goes really well this year for all the fans who come to watch," said Barrichello.

"I had a disappointing race in Montreal so we will be hoping for better this weekend, but it will be tough for us until we return to testing and work on improving the performance of the car."

Button, who complained about a lack of grip during most of the race in Canada, said Honda will use different tyres which he hopes will solve the problems he had in Montreal.

"We will be using different tyres at Indy to those we used last weekend in Montreal so I am hoping that we can have a better race there. I also hope that we can give the American public a really good race this year."
