Driver line-up for first Formula 1 test of 2016 complete

Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel will be the headline acts when Formula 1 for 2016 finally gets under way with testing at Barcelona on Monday

It has been a lengthy pre-season, with what will be an 84-day hiatus since the cars were last on track in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Hamilton, with back-to-back world titles now under his belt with Mercedes - and three overall to his name - has the honour of being the first to formally run the rule over the W07 Hybrid.

Hamilton, along with team-mate Nico Rosberg, each completed just under 50kms in shaking down the car at Silverstone on Friday as part of a promotional event.

The champion will be joined on track by Vettel in the SF16-H that was unveiled on Friday, with Valtteri Bottas at the wheel of Williams's FW38 that has also now been showcased.

After unveiling its new livery on Wednesday, Red Bull's RB12 will break cover at the Circuit de Catalunya at the hands of Daniel Ricciardo.

Force India reserve Alfonso Celis has first crack at the VJM09 while Jolyon Palmer is first up for the new Renault works team in the RS16.

Carlos Sainz will debut Toro Rosso's STR11, although due to the focus over the winter being on integrating Ferrari's 2015 power unit its livery will not be seen until the start of the second test on March 1.

Romain Grosjean has the privilege of being the first to try out newcomer Haas's maiden car, with rookie Pascal Wehrlein on hand for Manor as it unveils an all-new car complete with Mercedes power unit and Williams transmission.

As for McLaren, as it looks to get back on track following a torrid first year with power unit supplier Honda, Jenson Button will run the rule over the MP4-31 on day one.

Only Sauber will not have its 2016 car on show due to delays, so a modified version of last year's C34 will run, but with an updated livery.

The below line-up is subject to late changes.
