Barrichello hopes for repeat performance
Rubens Barrichello is hoping to maintain his early season momentum at this
weekend's Canadian Grand Prix.
The Stewart driver has shown impressive form this season, including a
sensational third place in San Marino.
He is also looking for a repeat of his last two performances in Canada, when
he qualified third in 1997 and finished fifth in last year's race.
Barrichello finished a poor eighth in the recent Spanish Grand Prix.
'My results in the Stewart-Ford team have been very good in Montreal,' said
the Brazilian.
'Barcelona was disappointing I'm very confident we will be able to mount a
strong challenge for points.'
Meanwhile, team-mate Johnny Herbert needs to kick-start his season after a
series of poor results in 1999.
The two-times race winner, whose struggled with reliability, is a big fan of
the Montreal track.
'I like the Montreal circuit a lot,' said the Englishman.
'It's not a difficult circuit to learn, but it's not always easy to be quick
there because it's a mix of fast straights, slow corners and hairpins. Set up
is crucial.'
