Burti Gives Thumbs Up to Frentzen

Prost driver Luciano Burti has given a thumbs up to his new teammate Heinz-Harald Frentzen after the duo's first race together in Hungary.

Frentzen joined the team after being sacked by Jordan and Burti believes their loss is Prost's gain and the French team are lucky to have the German driver's services.

"He is okay," said Burti, who qualified more than a second behind Frentzen at the Hungaroring on Saturday. "He's a very nice person - on the personal side I would say he is more similar to myself than Jean [Alesi] or Eddie [Irvine] were.

"He is very good technically and of course he is quick as well. I feel he was the best replacement available when Jean Alesi left. The team was very lucky to get a driver like him."

Frentzen is yet to be confirmed at Prost for the 2002 season, but it is likely that if he continues to impress in the remaining four races of this campaign he will stay with the Guyancourt-based outfit.
