Q & A with Timo Glock

Q. You have had a fantastic result in GP2, now the question is about your return to Formula One. What is the situation?

Timo Glock: "I would say the possibilities are better than in the last two or three years. Where the journey will go will depend on the next one or two weeks. It looks quite positive and I hope we can get a result out of it and be back in F1 next year as a race driver."

Q. Are Toyota a possibility?

TG: "There are one or two possibilities, yeah. But Toyota is one possibility and I would lie if I didn't say that Toyota and Williams are definitely possibilities."

Q. Of the two choices, Williams and Toyota, which one would excite you more?

TG: "It doesn't matter, I just want to race next year. I am just looking forward to getting a race seat. Both teams have quite good possibilities for the future, so let's see and hope that we get a race seat for next year."

Q. Have you had positive vibes back?

TG: "Yes, we are talking. But at the end, the conversations can be all positive but when you have to fix it there can be differences."

Q. Can you sum up your year? Did you feel the season would go this well?

TG: "I knew that we would be strong in GP2 and that there was definitely a possibility to make your way back in F1. But at the end you never believe in it. Standing here right now it is something that has put me in a comfortable situation. But I don't believe in it until I sit in the car and drive out in Melbourne for the first time. So we have to wait and see."

Q. How soon do you think you will make a decision about next year?

TG: "Hopefully in the next one or two weeks, there should be a decision made."

Q. But you've not signed or agreed anything yet?

TG: "No. We just try to fix the last couple of things and hopefully we will get it done."

Q. Are you confident you will get one of the two deals?

TG: "At the moment I am quite comfortable and think it could work out, but I am not somebody who gets too positive. I will only believe it when I sit in the car and drive out for the first time."
