Coulthard predicts competitive weekend
Scot David Coulthard is expecting his Red Bull Racing team to enjoy a competitive weekend at Istanbul, where Formula One returns to action following the summer break
The team are in sixth place in the constructors' championship with 16 points, four behind fifth-placed Williams, and hoping to bounce back following a disappointing race in Hungary.
Neither Coulthard or teammate Mark Webber were able to score points in Budapest after their strongest race of the season in the previous event in Germany.
Red Bull will introduce a new front wing for this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix, where Coulthard believes the team will be able to take a step forward.
"I hope it (the wing) is going to improve performance," Coulthard told a news conference. "One of the limitations we have had is being able to run enough front angle to balance and if it gives us what we want it should give us some potential.
"There are some fast corners here where we could do with some more front flap. The fast flowing nature should suit our car better. I am expecting us to be more competitive here."
