Grapevine: Jordan to Caddy McGinley
Eddie Jordan may have got used to being boss during his time in Formula One, but he will be taking orders from someone else this weekend when he performs golf caddy duties at the BMW International Open in Munich
The Irishman, who is taking what he calls a 'gap year' from motor racing activities after selling his F1 team to Midland in January, has decided to offer a helping hand to Irish Ryder Cup golfer Paul McGinley.
McGinley is likely to be a fairly demanding boss - he sunk the winning putt for Europe in the 2004 Ryder Cup and last weekend finished third behind Tiger Woods in the World Golf Championships - NEC Invitational at Firestone Country Club in America.
Speaking about his assistant for the weekend, McGinley said: "He has been on about caddying for me for several years and I promised him over a long Christmas lunch last year that he would get the opportunity this year.
"I hope my driving is better than his cars over the last couple of years!"
