Ferrari fears Jenson at Williams

The Contracts Recognition Board is due to adjudicate on the Button tug-of-war on October 16, and Brawn said in Suzuka: "Jenson in this year's BAR has done a great job, but it was interesting that today Ralf Schumacher did such a good job as well. You'd have to say that the Williams looked stronger than the BAR at Suzuka, so I think it's a close call.

"I think that what's important for Jenson is that he's with a team where he feels integrated and part of it. I'm proud of how well our drivers fit into the team at Ferrari and he's got to integrate well with his team. Probably, Jenson in a Williams we'd fear more because I think Jenson in a BAR is going to be a bit of a strained relationship next year. I'm sure they are very professional and will get on and do a good job, but possibly even more so in a Williams."

Brawn also torpedoed rumours that should BAR lose the Button case, they might be able to lure Rubens Barrichello from Ferrari to BAR to lead next season's attack (Click HERE for separate story).
