Brawn gushes over Schuey
Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn has hailed Michael Schumacher's "unbelievable" performances this year after the Ferrari driver notched up his seventh win of the season at the Canadian Grand Prix last weekend
His 77th career win was yet another to make it into the record books for Schumacher is the only driver to win the same race seven times as yet another world title beckons.
"Michael's been really astonishing this year. Rubens is doing a great job, but he is in Michael's shadow this year. Michael's unbelievable," said Brawn.
Yet the Briton insists the championship is not sewn up and asked if he thought Ferrari could still be challenged, he said: "It's a very difficult thing to predict. We never like to say 'no' because you can just get caught out. It would be foolish of us to say no.
"What we are most pleased with is our consistency. [But] I'm sure there will be days when BAR, Renault, or maybe the new McLaren and Williams, will give us a very hard time."
Ferrari currently head the championship chase with a massive 124 points, 63 ahead of their nearest challengers Renault on 61.
