Schuey sends out warning
World championship dominator Michael Schumacher has sent out an ominous warning to his rivals, saying he expects his Ferrari to be well suited to both legs of Formula 1's upcoming North American tour
Schumacher brings a 14-point lead into this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal. He is confident of a good result there, and at the following weekend's United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
"On circuits like Monaco we had a little trouble but the two races coming up should favour us," he said. "As ever we will be going all out for the win."
Schumacher is taking time out this week for a short holiday after taking part in testing at Silverstone recently.
"There is no doubt that testing went well," said Michael. "The second day, in particular, went really well. We were able to do work on everything we planned to, and in fact, we did more than we expected until a brief pause because of a red flag.
"This is why I am going to Montreal in a positive frame of mind. I mean, why should I be anything other? As I have stated in the past, both Montreal and Indianapolis are circuits that suit our cars, so I expect us to be very competitive."
