BAR wants result for Honda
The BAR-Honda team are hopeful of a good result in the Hungarian Grand Prix, where Honda celebrates its 250th Grand Prix. The team is in good form, having scored points in the last two races. BAR will bring a high downforce aerodynamic package to twisty Budapest
Team boss David Richards said: "This is good progress for the team. There has been a step up in both performance and reliability. This is an important event for Honda and I am sure they will be looking to us for a good result."
Jacques Villeneuve likes the track and won twice there with Williams. On-form team-mate Jenson Button doesn't greatly enjoy the slow circuit, but thinks he can do well.
"I don't think our car is at its best on low-speed circuits," said Button. "But we've made some improvements, and I am feeling very positive after the points at Silverstone and Hockenheim. Budapest is very hard on tyres so we will have to put a lot of thought into tyre choice to make the most of the conditions."
Honda made its Formula 1 début at the 1964 German Grand Prix with Ronnie Bucknum at the wheel. Their engines have won five times in Budapest with Williams and McLaren, but not since Ayrton Senna's victory in 1992.
