Video: What to look out for in 2019 Formula 1 winter testing

The 2019 Formula 1 season effectively gets under way on Monday morning as winter testing begins at Barcelona - meaning we're about to get our first hints of the storylines ahead

Autosport's Grand Prix Editor Edd Straw and F1 Reporter Scott Mitchell joined Glenn Freeman to discuss what they'll be looking out for in testing.

In particular, the success or failure of the new Red Bull-Honda alliance and how quickly Charles Leclerc settles in at Ferrari could have a major impact on the season - and especially the chances of the title battle extending beyond the Lewis Hamilton versus Sebastian Vettel head to head of recent years.

They also explain how to analyse the information available in testing, and what teams will be looking to achieve in the fortnight ahead.

You can follow every moment of F1 pre-season testing with Autosport Live, beginning from 7.45am UK time on Monday morning.
